Outdoor Transpiration Activity!
To start you will need these materials:
-A medium sized clear plastic bag
-A foot or more of string
Take a trip outside! Find a tree with low hanging branches and leaves. Open the clear plastic bag. Position the bag so the end of a low hanging branch with leaves on it is inside the plastic bag. Close off the open end of the plastic bag and fasten it closed with string. Leave the bag and return after an hour has passed and record your findings. Leave the bag again and return after two hours and record your findings. Leave the bag once more and return after three hours and record your finding.
Now you have seen Transpiration in ACTION!!!
